Celebrating 10 Years of the American Writers Museum

The Next Chapter is Yours

The American Writers Museum inspires audiences to explore how American writers—past, present, and future—shape our histories, cultures, identities, and daily lives.

Through exhibitions, programs, and digital resources, the Museum reaches far beyond its Chicago home. It deepens appreciation for writing, encourages a love of reading, and inspires the writers of tomorrow.
